Christians in Iran are facing many pressures and attacks on their faith.  Many are not able to meet together openly and obtaining Christian teaching is difficult.  SAT-7 PARS provides a spiritual lifeline for them.

SAT-7 PARS broadcasts to the Farsi-speaking audience in Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikstan and to the diaspora in Europe.  Like other SAT-7 channels it provides a variety of programmes including women's programmes, drama, discipleship and many films.  It also has a segment of children’s programmes.

Live broadcasts form an important part of the schedule as viewers can contact the presenters with their questions. One programme, 'Dandelion', answers questions from teenagers who often don’t have anywhere else to turn to talk through issues affecting them.

Viewers appreciate all the Biblical teaching on SAT-7 PARS and many believers depend on the channel for encouragement and Biblical education.  One component of the channel is Seminary of the Air (SOTA), a comprehensive resource of biblical training which helps those seeking the truth as well as providing discipleship for new Christians and leadership training.

For two hours each day SAT-7 PARS broadcasts programmes in Dari, the language of Afghanistan.
