14 September 2019 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
See and hear what God is doing in the Middle East and North Africa… and how you can be involved! Find out how SAT-7 is making God’s love visible in a turbulent region. Take a look behind the headlines at what is happening in people’s lives. Hear from Middle Eastern Christians about how God is at work.
3pm (for a 3.30pm start) – 7pm
Wishaw Baptist Church
Saturday 14 September
Pastor Miltan Danil, who will be speaking, presents two live programmes on SAT-7’s Farsi-language channel, SAT-7 PARS, and pastors two churches in Croydon and Brighton. He had a troubled childhood and became a drug addict in his teens; he spent time in prison and grew severely depressed. But his life turned around at the age of 27 when his brother told him that Jesus could save and heal him. Miltan gave his life to Christ, accepted God’s call to ministry, and has been used by Him to help others overcome similar problems.
Shemiran Danil became a Christian at the age of 17 through the influence of her mother, and after her marriage to Miltan they served the Lord together in Iran. Eventually they were forced out of the country by anti-Christian persecution, and Shemiran now works with her husband in building the Iranian Church in the UK. She also appears with him on SAT-7 PARS and is co-presenter of their own programme, Our Neighbourhood. This fulfils a prophecy they received while still in Iran that they would minister to thousands of people.
SAT-7 UK’ team members will explore the wider picture across the MENA region, taking an in-depth look behind the headlines, and explaining why SAT-7 does what it does. You will also be able to hear testimonies from Middle Eastern believers about how God is at work in their lives, and find out how you can get involved in this exciting ministry.
Come and be inspired and challenged! And please consider who you could invite to join you: have you got a friend with a heart for the Middle East who might like to come too?
“Having speakers from the region made this conference so much more meaningful” Envision Cheltenham attendee
