Cry for worth! The cry of women
Living as a virtual slave
When just 11 years old, Elmira’s family forced her to marry. By her 15th birthday she had two children.
Her husband was a drug addict who forced her into prostitution to fund his habit.
“Being a woman in my world hurt so much” she said.
Over the next 14 years Elmira became HIV positive and lived as a virtual slave. Even though she didn’t know what the future held, Elmira eventually found the courage to escape.
Discovering the love of Jesus
Broken and depressed she discovered SAT-7 television. “I watched your programmes and learned that God loves me… despite all that I had done,” she said.
Elmira led 10 relatives to Christ and they now watch SAT-7 and worship God together. She told SAT-7, “Thank you for all you do to share God’s love with people like me. Please pray that I will serve Him to the best of my ability.”
Pray for Women
Pray for women who feel devalued or have suffered abuse that through SAT-7’s programmes they will know that God’s love for them is life changing.
When God created human beings, he made them to be like himself. He created them male and female, and he blessed them and called them “human.”
