IRANIAN DIASPORA
Mehrazar, an Iranian SAT-7 PARS viewer, wrote to us and said: “I live in Kyrgyzstan. I am very worried about my family in Iran, especially since all
communication has been cut off. I am united with you, dear ones, in prayer for the lands of Iran and my people.” Pray for the Iranian diaspora across the world, that their hearts will be aligned with God’s purposes as they pray for their home country.
Tuesday 20 January
LANGUAGES AND LOCATIONS
SAT-7 broadcasts in three main languages, works in 25 countries in the MENA, has around 260 staff located all over the world, and has offices in Cyprus, the UK, the US, and Hong Kong. Pray that throughout this vast spectrum of diversity, the common thread will be Jesus.

BIBLE TEACHING SESSIONS
“You may not realise how valuable and impactful your lessons are, but I can see how they are bringing changes in me and in my life,” said Forogh, an Iranian woman who participates in our Zoom Bible teaching sessions. “It’s hard to express my gratitude.” Thank God for these online gatherings and pray for more of His blessing on them.

BURNING QUESTIONS
On the new series of SAT-7 ARABIC live youth show Quality Time, viewers are getting more chances to ask their burning questions, hear faith-building answers, and even learn how to interpret the Bible for themselves. Pray that God’s wisdom will flow through Saba, the programme’s
presenter, and guests.

“NEW DOORS”
“Every time I listen to you, my eyes are opened to something new... you are a source of blessing and light in my life,” said Rena from Egypt, after a
watching a sermon on the SAT-7 ARABIC YouTube page. Let us pray in line with her request: “[Please pray] that the Lord would open new doors for me in ministry, since the old doors have closed.”
Saturday 24 January
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF EDUCATION
Although it was discontinued in 2023, the legacy of SAT-7 programme My School lives on, with young viewers learning Arabic, English, Maths and Science through our SAT-7 PLUS app. This International Day of Education, pray that My School viewers will develop a love for learning that lasts into adulthood.

MENA ECONOMIES
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much” (Luke 16:10). As we focus this week on the economic situation in the MENA, pray that God’s people in the region will learn to be faithful with whatever they have, so they can provide for their families and even be generous in their communities.

LEBANON
The Lebanese economy is under huge strain, with around 80% of the population reported to be living in poverty and food prices having risen 350%. Pray that the country’s leaders will seek God and make wise choices to bring about positive change.
Tuesday 27 January
PROVISION AND PEACE
“I am requesting prayers because my financial situation and my mental state are not good. Please pray for me so that my life can improve,” said Pardis from Afghanistan. Pray for Pardis and others like her in Afghanistan, that they will experience God’s provision and peace this year.
Wednesday 28 January
SUDAN
Sudan’s economy has been devastated by more than two and a half years of civil war. Pray for those who have lost their livelihoods, that they will be
empowered to find new ways to create wealth and sustain themselves.
Thursday 29 January
FATIHA FROM ALGERIA
“Jesus changed my perspective on life,” shared Fatiha from Algeria, “and I discovered that money does not bring joy; only Christ can satisfy the heart.” Thank God for revealing this to Fatiha and pray that many others in the MENA will encounter Jesus and be freed from pursuing wealth for its own sake.

SYRIA
Syria faces many economic challenges as it seeks to rebuild its country under a new government. Pray that discerning choices will be made by the
authorities and that entrepreneurs will rise up and create new centres of wealth and activity across the country.
Saturday 31 January
KAMAND FROM IRAN
“I found Christ at my lowest point of despair,” said Kamand, a female SAT-7 PARS viewer from Iran. “In that very first month, I received many gifts, including good health and a job change, and my situation has greatly
improved. I’m still at the beginning of this journey, but I read the Bible
every day and am learning.” Thank God that He provides. May this truth be discovered by many more believers and seekers in the MENA this year.
