“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” (Revelation 7:9-10). Pray for SAT-7 to keep this glorious vision in mind, and work to bring the Gospel to all the peoples and languages of the MENA.

After overcoming challenges to film inside Oman and Saudi Arabia, SAT-7’s Youth for an Enabling Society (YES) project recorded stories of youth entrepreneurship to share on social media. Give thanks for this breakthrough and pray that, through these videos, young viewers in Oman and Saudi Arabia will know their value in God’s eyes and be inspired to use their talents for good.

God’s creation is full of wonders and marvels, but for those lacking safety and security, the natural world can feel like more of a foe than a friend. As Earth Day is celebrated today around the world, pray for MENA Christians to experience a restored relationship with the Creator and His creation.

SAT-7 TÜRK’s nature-based youth programme Campfire, which returned for its second season earlier this year, offers a perfect backdrop for honest conversations, and the glow of the fire is a fitting metaphor for the biblical wisdom that illuminates each episode. Pray that viewers will see God’s fingerprints all over the natural world.

With MENA countries such as Türkiye and Afghanistan prone to earthquakes, and many more vulnerable to drought or flooding, pray for regional leaders and disaster management teams across the region, that they will have wisdom to prepare for extreme events.

SAT-7 KIDS shows like Cupcake are helping young people gain valuable life skills, including looking after their natural surroundings. Pray that more young Christians in the MENA will grasp the importance of caring for the environment as they grow up.

“We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time” (Romans 8:22). Praise God that one day He will liberate the earth from this groaning, and that He will create a new heaven and a new earth!

“The golden light of the sun shone upon the trees and distant mountains, a gentle breeze began to blow, and the sound of birds filled the air,” said Armin, a SAT-7 PARS viewer from Iran. “I said to myself, ‘Oh Lord, thank you for allowing me to see this beauty.’” Ask God to reveal His beauty to you through nature.

Pray for MENA leaders as they make difficult decisions about natural resources, agriculture, and energy use. May they be guided by God’s wisdom and make decisions that benefit their people, whilst also taking into account the long-term health of their lands.

“Nature plays a very important role in our lives, and so we have a duty to take care of it,” said Taraneh, a young girl from Iran. Thank God for Taraneh’s understanding and pray that many others of her generation will develop a love for God’s world.

“I prefer to use the word ‘creation’ instead of ‘environment’,” explained a special guest on SAT-7 ARABIC talk show Good Morning Beirut. “We have a call, being here on earth, to believe in a Creator God... Our call is to care for creation.” Pray for Christians and churches across the MENA to take seriously their responsibility to care for creation.
