Making Christ-centred programmes inspiring hope
Every programme SAT-7 broadcasts, whether it is a drama, a game show, a sitcom or a documentary, presents Christian values and points to Christ. Our range of teaching programmes and church services bring life and light to many in the region who are seeking truth or needing encouragement in their Christian walk.
Our programmes are politically and culturally sensitive; 80% are made in the region by local Christians and the rest are chosen by Middle Easterners to speak meaningfully into the circumstances of people in the region. We are careful that none of our programmes ever attack another faith. We instead seek to present the positive truth of Christianity.
One more important SAT-7 distinctive: we don’t just broadcast programmes and leave it there. We have viewer support teams for each channel, responding to phone calls, answering emails and contacts through social media, praying with people and often counselling them through difficult times. Some teams are dealing with thousands of contacts per week.
Whatever we do, it is all with the aim of bringing hope in Jesus Christ to the people of the Middle East and North Africa.
