Children and young people across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) are among the most vulnerable in the world, trapped in cycles of war, displacement, and poverty that rob them of their childhood, education, and future. According to UNICEF, more than 1,100 children were reported killed or injured in the first ten days, after violence erupted across the Middle East on 28 February.
