Ministry in a neglected region
Christians in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) are among the least supported in the world, despite living under intense pressures. The Christian population has shrunk to only 3.5%, and in some places it is less than 1%. In many countries churches are struggling to survive. Yet only a tiny proportion of donations for Christian causes go to ministries working in the MENA.
Wide-ranging and cost-effective
Satellite television brings SAT-7’s message directly into the family home, bypassing barriers of censorship and illiteracy. Digital media make our content available to people at any time and on any device. And TV ministry is extremely cost-effective. It costs only around 50p to bring SAT-7’s Christian programmes to one viewer 24/7 for an entire year.
Free to view
SAT-7’s programmes are free to view by millions across the MENA, so our ministry can thrive and grow only because of the generous support of individuals, churches and grant-making bodies around the world. Our donors are partners with us in the task of making God’s love visible to viewers throughout the region.
One-off gifts to support our ministry are hugely appreciated. But the most effective way of supporting SAT-7 is by regular giving through a standing order or direct debit. This provides our programme-makers with a guaranteed income that allows them to plan production and scheduling with confidence.
