SAT-7 is free to view
We don’t appeal to our viewers for money. We don’t sell air time. SAT-7 is totally dependent on the financial and prayerful support of Christian individuals and funding organisations who understand just how effective and strategic this ministry is.
Christians in the MENA are among the least supported in the entire world. In many places churches are struggling to survive. The region has one of the smallest Christian populations in the world, a tiny percentage of the 500 million people living there. Yet less than 0.1% of all charitable donations for Christian causes go to ministries working in the MENA.

A cost effective ministry
Uncensored satellite TV is one of the most effective – and often the only – means of bringing Christ’s message into closed countries or remote locations. And although it is expensive to make TV programmes, it is extremely cost-effective. It costs less than £1 to bring SAT-7’s Christian programming to one viewer 24/7 for an entire year!
A unique ministry
Many Christian television channels are funded by soliciting money on air from viewers, through commercial advertising and/or by selling airtime. Selling airtime effectively means allowing someone to take over your channel for a few hours each day and having no control over the type or content of programmes they broadcast. SAT-7 is different! Because of the need for cultural sensitivity in the MENA, we will not sell airtime.
The challenge with a faith funding model is that we never know from one month to the next exactly what the income to the ministry will be. This can make it very hard for programme-makers to plan effectively and can at times lead to exciting or ground-breaking programmes being cancelled due to lack of funding.
The most effective way to support SAT-7 is through committed regular giving via a standing order or direct debit. Giving in this way means you are helping to provide our programme makers with the continuous funding they need. Please prayerfully consider if this is something you might be able to do.
Remember every gift, however small, does make a difference.
