Where there is prayer, there is hope for things to change. This is why it’s so encouraging that SAT-7 staff are able to pray regularly with and for viewers.
“How beautiful and heart-warming is prayer – it renews the heart and connects us with our Heavenly Father,” Dalir from Afghanistan shares. “I pray and ask the Father to take hold of us and grant us the power and authority to overcome in our battles, and I ask you dear friends not to forget to pray for us. Pray and ask the Father to rescue us from the evil one in Afghanistan, because life under this government is truly difficult.”
Dalir, like all believers in Afghanistan, faces many challenges. But he trusts God to bring about the change he desires. “I am sadly unable to be baptised, but my hope is that one day I will be baptised by one of the dear pastors. I love the Lord Jesus and I am sure that our heavenly Father will bring it about for my family and I to be baptised.”
He finished by asking the viewer support team to “pray that the Lord will touch the hearts of the Afghan people so that we will see churches built where we can worship the Lord.”
