Beirut children given red carpet experience at studio event
SAT-7’s Lebanon studio opened its doors for a special screening of a SAT-7 KIDS film, giving children from local churches a memorable red-carpet experience with members of the cast at a fun-packed and faith-filled event.

Three groups of children were invited to the studio in Beirut on 12 August to watch Adonai as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes content about the making of the film. The event also introduced the youngsters to SAT-7 KIDS’ other programming on the set of La Fiesta as well as to its goal of encouraging children to stay close to Jesus through life’s challenges.
“The atmosphere was joyful, full of meaningful interaction, and filled with moments of connection between the children and our SAT-7 KIDS family,” said presenter Manessa Audi, who hosted and produced the event.
SAFE SPACE
As well as providing a fun and entertaining experience for the children, the event also opened up opportunities for deeper conversations, inspired by the themes explored in Adonai. The film, in which a group of children have a life-changing encounter with Jesus, was made last year.
“One of the most beautiful parts of the day was providing a safe space for the children to share their feelings and fears,” Manessa said. “We asked them, ‘What are you afraid of?’ and their answers were touching… These conversations opened deep emotional doors and gave the children a chance to be heard, comforted, and encouraged.”

Children were invited to take part in vox pops and share their spiritual journeys, and the SAT-7 KIDS team explored the youngsters’ talents with a view to inviting them to participate in future productions.
The children were given takeaways including framed photographs with a special green screen background and promotional materials for SAT-7 PLUS to encourage them to watch KIDS programmes through the streaming platform.
“Both the children and their leaders told us how much they enjoyed the day,” Manessa said. “We believe this experience planted seeds in the hearts of these children, reminding them that they are loved, seen, and called to walk closely with Jesus.”
