7 Ways to celebrate 30 Years
Headlines change rapidly from one moment to the next but SAT-7’s message remains unchanged: God is with you. He loves you. You are not alone. In the words of one Iranian viewer recently: “We need you now more than ever.”
In our special 30th anniversary year, we celebrate our faithful supporters. We’ve highlighted a range of opportunities to inspire you and your church communities to continue to partner with us into the future. Because although bad news changes quickly, the Good News never will!
1. Pray
God invites us to pray – not just to change the world, but to change our own hearts in the process. Will you commit to praying for the Middle East and North Africa and the work of SAT-7 over the coming year? You can use our 30 Stories of Hope book to inspire your prayers:
30 Stories of Hope
Read and reflect on thirty powerful stories from the Middle East and North Africa – celebrating how God is at work in people’s lives.
From Morocco to Tajikistan, we bring you 30 of their real stories. We pray their testimonies will fill you with hope as you witness God at work in the Middle East and North Africa.
2. Challenge
To celebrate 30 years of SAT-7, we are calling for 300 new joy bringers to pledge to give £30 a month for the next three years and beyond, which could generate an extra £300,000 for SAT-7’s ministry.
3. Fundraise
Inspired to take on your own sponsored activity for SAT-7’s 30th anniversary? Why not swim, bike, run, climb, host or bake to help bring Good News to even more people. Let us know what you have planned – or get in touch with us for ideas!
4. Partner
Could your church sponsor a media project during the next year? Or, if funds are committed, why not become a Prayer Partner and start praying for, and learning more about, the region and impact of SAT-7, and how SAT-7 can resource your church in the UK?
5. Celebrate
Prom Praise: to the Ends of the Earth
SAT-7 celebrated our 30th anniversary at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 6 June 2026, for a Prom Praise special, in partnership with Langham Arts! Our international CEO, Rita El-Mounayer, joined us in London for Livestream interviews and Marianne Awaraji was on stage for some very special performances!
Prom Praise: To the Ends of the Earth will carry you from the heart of London to communities and cultures across the world, echoing Jesus’ final commission: “You will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.”
6. Give
A gift in your Will allows you to make a lasting impact in the MENA. Find out more and write your Will for FREE in partnership with Octopus Legacy.
7. Share
From prayer needs to podcasts, challenges to celebrations, over the next year we want even more people to pray for the Middle East, to learn about the region and to be inspired by SAT-7’s ministry. Please consider challenging yourself to share our content online or directly. You could even become an Anniversary Ambassador!
