Can you bring hope to isolated and oppressed brothers and sisters?
Have you heard of Nowruz? It’s the Persian New Year in Iran and Afghanistan – and it’s fast approaching.
But while you and I might head into a new year with a buzz of anticipation, believers in Iran and Afghanistan long for so much more. For them, Nowruz is a time of desperate hope for radical change...
In Afghanistan, women are being erased. In Iran, brothers and sisters yearn for a life of freedom. These are two of the hardest places in the world to be a Christian, and believers there are only just clinging on. Nowruz is just around the corner, and there’s an urgent need for new hope.
SAT-7 TV is ready to bring solace and strength through Christ via our satellite and digital programmes. You can help to deliver good news to people in places where hope so often seems out of reach. Through faith-filled programmes, diverse educational resources, and secure connections to other believers, you can enable vital moments of fellowship that might otherwise be impossible.
Today, you can strengthen Iranian women like Shadi:
Your programmes are really helping my faith to grow. I am being built up and strengthened, and I am enabled to find peace. I’ve become able to forgive, and I am receiving many blessings.”
You can ensure that women like Afsoon, watching SAT-7 in Afghanistan, do not feel alone:
My sisters and I can’t go out because of the Taliban. Last year we went for a walk into a neighbour’s fields and the Taliban turned up and asked us where we had been and where was our [male] chaperone. We don’t have much of a family either to enjoy Nowruz visiting them […] But we are glad to have you and your channel.”
When you support SAT-7, you keep hope alive in the hardest places.
