SAT-7 ARABIC’s Youth for an Enabling Society (YES) project is sharing the inspiring stories of people from across the Arab world who have overcome obstacles to impact their society for good. These mini documentaries reached 300,000 followers in one month! Thank God for the impact of this project and pray that viewers will be inspired to follow their own callings.

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful” (Colossians 4:2). Pray for God’s help to be devoted, watchful and thankful in your prayer life.

The Word of God is a firm foundation for individuals, families, communities and even nations. SAT-7 is committed to sharing the Word of God in the MENA and helping our viewers implement its teaching in their lives. Pray that SAT-7’s staff teams will keep the Bible at the centre of all they do.

Isolated Christians in Iran continue to be resourced by long-running SAT-7 PARS programme Principles of Faith, which teaches the Bible in simple terms. Pray that more people will have their faith strengthened by this programme.

“You were the first people I saw teaching Christian doctrine,” said Angela, a teenager from Egypt. “You introduced me to many stories from the Bible and hymns at about 3 or 4 years old. You shaped my childhood... Thank you for everything.” Pray that many more young people in the Arab world will have their young years shaped by biblical truth.

SAT-7 TÜRK’s Bible-based programme Telling the Gospel, which features teaching from a Patriarch in the Armenian Apostolic Church, speaks the Word of God directly into viewers’ lives. Pray that presenter Sahak Mashalyan will be filled with the Holy Spirit during filming.

Kamand, a woman from Iran, wrote to us to say: “Last year, I became a believer. I’ve been attending [SAT-7’s Zoom teaching sessions] for about two months now. I’m still at the beginning of this journey, but I read the Bible every day and am learning. I’m grateful.” Pray for Kamand, and new believers like her, that they will learn through SAT-7 to build their lives on God’s Word.

SAT-7 ARABIC’s new discipleship programme The Throne of Grace gives isolated Tunisian Christians the chance to hear the Word of God and discussions about how it should impact believers’ lives. Pray for God to encourage and strengthen the Tunisian Church through this programme.

“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ” (Romans 10:17). As World Mission Sunday is marked, thank God for SAT-7’s part in sharing the “word about Christ” across the MENA. Pray for the many other ministries and individuals who are part of this same mission.

“For the past few years, I have been following your programmes through Instagram and YouTube,” said Nahal from Türkiye. “I am very eager to learn, and because I love the SAT-7 network, I want to receive education from you.” Pray that more Turks like Nahal will connect with our channel and soak up our Bible teaching.

SAT-7’s ministry depends on prayer support. Ask God to raise up new prayer supporters and encourage all those – like you – who already hold us in prayer.

“You helped me at a time when I felt alone and couldn’t find anyone to bring me back on track,” said Serin, a female SAT-7 ARABIC viewer from Lebanon. “You taught me not to believe every negative thought and how to renew my mind with the Word. SAT-7’s four channels have a range of social media pages that promote our satellite programmes, post inspiring biblical content and engage with viewers. Pray for those who oversee the social media pages, that they will be filled with God’s love and wisdom.

“I have been feeling frustrated, weak, and hopeless for some time,” says Ramten, a male SAT-7 PARS viewer from Iran. “I want to be renewed, lively, hopeful, and filled with love and kindness.” Let us plead with God to grant Ramten’s desire.

In response to widespread and growing access to a range of internet-enabled smart devices, SAT-7 launched the region’s first on-demand Christian video streaming platform, SAT-7 PLUS, in 2021. Pray for those that oversee SAT-7 PLUS, that they will be blessed with wisdom as the digital landscape continues to change.

“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light” (Matthew 6:22). Pray that Christians in the MENA will choose to watch wholesome, uplifting content – such as that on SAT-7 PLUS – instead of anything that might damage their faith.

A girl named Zahra from Egypt has been using the SAT-7 PLUS app to stream our children’s programmes. “I love SAT-7 KIDS,” she told us recently. “I downloaded the app and learned so much from its programmes, like how God is limitless and can do anything imaginable.”

SAT-7 PLUS had around 1.3 million unique users in 2024. Thank God for the platform’s large reach and pray for its continued growth.

The Chosen, which reveals Jesus through the eyes of his disciples, was one of the most popular programmes on SAT-7 PLUS last year. “Thank you so much for the SAT-7 app,” said Emily, a teenage girl from Lebanon. “I’ve been really enjoying watching The Chosen.” Thank God for the impact of this programme and pray that more young people in the MENA will encounter Jesus through it.

Unlike most streaming platforms, there are no barriers to access SAT-7 PLUS. Viewers do not need to provide their personal details, let alone pay for a subscription. Pray that God will provide the funds necessary to maintain and improve SAT-7 PLUS so that viewers can continue enjoying it for free.

Our popular education programme My School, which completed its fifth and final series in 2023, is still available on SAT-7 PLUS, and remains one of our most popular programmes. Pray that young people across the MENA will find more life opportunities as a result of the education they receive through the programme.
