“I am a fan of SAT-7, and I sincerely thank you,” shared Joseph, a man from Lebanon. “SAT-7 is indeed a television station, but I like to call it a beacon, because it spreads the word of truth throughout the Arab world and beyond.” Pray that many more people in the Arab-speaking world will see the light of Christ through our programmes.

SAT-7 broadcasts Christ-centred content to 25 countries, from Mauritania in north-west Africa to Tajikistan in central Asia. Pray for increased viewership in every single one of the countries we work in, while asking God to connect the region’s most isolated believers to our ministry.

Several SAT-7 staff members in Lebanon have felt the terrible effects of war this year. Pray they will be comforted by God and strengthened in their faith.

“I would love to grow closer to God,” said Saba, a Syrian woman in her sixties. “Please pray with me that God will respond to my request and help me draw nearer to Him.” Let us pray along with Saba for greater intimacy with God.

With the height of summer approaching, many people in the UK are counting down to the summer holidays. Pray for SAT-7 UK staff members taking a break from work in the coming weeks, that they will sense God’s nearness as they rest.

“So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you” (2 Thessalonians 2:15a). Pray for all the SAT-7 viewers who have come to Christ so far this year, that they will stand strong in the biblical teaching they have received.

As we seek to grow in godliness, that includes a striving for holiness: to be pure in our thoughts and wholehearted in our allegiance to Christ, while avoiding sin at all costs. Pray that Bible teachers on SAT-7’s programmes will gain fresh understanding of God’s holiness and impart that to viewers.

“How can I purify myself to become a holy vessel?” asked Magdoline, a woman in her 40s from Egypt. After speaking with our Viewer Support team, Magdoline committed to a local church and started her discipleship journey. Pray that she will grow in holiness.

Hosted by a group of people in their 20s, Christian Youth on SAT-7 PARS is sharing God’s love and breaking down topics such as emotional wellbeing, forgiveness, and holiness. Pray that the presenters of this show will be filled with the Holy Spirit.

In the second season of Bible-teaching programme Treasures From Heaven on SAT-7 TÜRK, topics such as Christian morality, consciousness of sin, and judgment were explored. Pray that viewers will develop a grand vision of God’s character and increasingly reflect it in their lives.

SAT-7 PARS programme Sacred Transformation (pictured below) provides clear, actionable guidance on holy habits such as prayer, Bible study, silence, Sabbath rest, fasting, and worship. Pray that viewers will connect with this teaching and grow in holiness as a result!

“When we commit sins, does the Lord Christ forgive us?” asked Shaker, a male SAT-7 ARABIC viewer from Algeria. “I have fallen into sin many times.” Our Viewer Support team had several in-depth conversations with Shaker, explaining the origin and consequences of sin, the call to holy living and an assurance of God’s forgiveness in Christ. Pray that Shaker will take these words to heart and grow as a believer.

“I am the Lord, who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy” (Leviticus 11:45). Pray for a greater understanding of God’s holiness that will impact your heart, your mind, and your habits.

SAT-7 UK’s podcast Around The Table is bringing together thought leaders and faithful believers from the UK and the MENA for honest and enthralling conversations. Pray that this podcast will lead to spiritual fruit in the lives of its listeners.

“I asked for prayers,” said Canadan from Türkiye. “With your prayers, peace has come to my home and my spouse. May God bless you abundantly; thank God you are in our lives.” Thank God that He is hearing the prayers of our Turkish Viewer Support team!

The World Watch List by Open Doors, which chronicles the top 50 most oppressive places for Christian to live, includes Yemen (3), Sudan (4), Syria (6), Libya (9) and Iran (10). Pray for seekers in these nations who are secretly exploring Christianity, for God’s protection and blessing on them.

“I have been far from God for a while now,” shared Karima, a female SAT-7 ARABIC viewer from Egypt. “Deep inside me, there is a hunger for a different kind of life. I long for a real and genuine connection with Jesus.” Pray that Karima’s longing for Jesus will be satisfied.

To further SAT-7’s work in the MENA, SAT-7 UK needs to raise its profile in this corner of the globe and bring new supporters into the fold. Pray for wisdom for our team, so they will know which opportunities to press into.

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people” (Ephesians 6:8). Let’s give thanks for supporters (like you!) who pray faithfully, and ask that more people in the UK and Ireland will be moved to pray for SAT-7’s work and God’s people in the MENA.

Kinfire Festival in Kilnenny, Republic of Ireland, takes place from 12-15 August. Pray for the SAT-7 UK representatives who will be present, for them to make great connections and raise our profile in the country.

Ask God to lead us to new donors in the UK who would be inspired to partner with SAT-7 through their support to serve the believers and not-yet-believers in the MENA.

SAT-7 UK will have a stall at the Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention from 15-24 August in Northern Ireland. Pray that the team will prepare well and raise good support while there.

Please pray for meaningful opportunities for SAT-7 to be featured in both Christian and mainstream UK media — that editors, journalists and producers will recognise the importance of the ministry’s work and be open to sharing stories of hope, faith and transformation from the MENA.

Pray for strong relationships with UK press contacts, including Christian publications, broadcasters and secular news outlets, so that SAT-7 will gain wider visibility, reach new audiences, and inspire greater prayer, understanding and support across the UK.
