“It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35b). Pray for our two team members who work in Philanthropy & Partnerships, that they will generously give their time and attention to our partners, who in turn might be inspired to sow into our ministry.

Our fundraising team need a constant flow of good ideas and enthusiasm for the varied work they carry out. Pray that God will give them zeal for the task at hand!

Our Church Engagement team, which has recently gained a new manager, helps church members rally support for SAT-7 as well as equipping churches to put on exciting events. Pray for SAT-7 UK’s relationship with churches to blossom and produce good fruit.

SAT-7 UK would be nowhere without its 80 or so ambassadors and volunteers. This generous and committed group of supporters help us with speaking engagements, administration, and even sending out our Christmas mailings! Pray God will reward them for their efforts.

“Even if your work feels unnoticed, God acknowledges all your efforts,” said Akay as she encouraged the team at SAT-7 TÜRK. “Please don’t lose hope; continue to let your light shine. Your reward is being prepared for you in heaven and the Lord is by your side.” Pray that our Turkish staff members will be encouraged by Akay’s message!

Our viewers are increasingly using handheld devices to stream our content, but the medium of television is still central to SAT-7’s ministry, with millions of people tuning in via satellite last year. This World Television Day, pray for God’s favour on our satellite licences and programmes.

Erfan from Afghanistan contacted us to say: “I have just come to faith in Christ... but I don’t know much about the faith. I have no family, no home, and no life. Every night I sleep in a different place and often go to bed hungry. I search for work every day but have not succeeded yet.” Pray that the Lord will sustain Erfan both spiritually and physically.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you” (James 1:5). Pray that SAT-7 staff will grow in their desire for wisdom so they can make good choices that lead to positive change.

Many of our interactions with viewers centre on brokenness and healing – whether that be physical, emotional, or otherwise. Pray that our Viewer Support team will be increasingly equipped to deal with the wide variety of people and circumstances they encounter.

Sarah from Egypt felt rejected and humiliated from a young age. After sharing her scars with us, we prayed for her and guided her to a new understanding of God’s love. “God’s mercy towards us is immense, and we are always surrounded by it,” she said. Pray that Sarah will continue to build her life on God’s love.

Pathway to Healing is a new Christian counselling programme tailored to addressing mental health, family challenges, and social issues prevalent in Persianspeaking communities. Pray that many viewers will experience healing through this programme.

Hailey from the United Arab Emirates asked us to pray for her daughter who needed a brain scan. Eventually we got this update: “God intervened and worked a miracle on her behalf. My daughter is well now and is able to go to school.” Thank God for intervening and pray for the family’s faith to be strengthened.

“My son was long addicted to drugs and I prayed for years,” said Lale, an Iranian SAT-7 PARS viewer. “He has now quit. The Lord has answered my prayers, and yours, and He has healed my son... I thank God for you and for His miracle in my son.” Thank God for this wonderful news and pray that Lale’s son will stay clean.

“I have been struggling with a spinal issue for years,” said Mehrzad, a man from Iran. “I had surgery seven years ago, but the pain and problems have returned. I kindly ask you to pray for me.” Pray for Mehrzad, and all our viewers like him who await healing, that God’s will be done in their lives.

“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father” (John 14:12). Pray that God’s people in the MENA will increasingly do the works of Christ, bringing healing of all kinds to the people in need among them.
