URGENT PRAYER FOR THE PEOPLE OF IRAN
URGENT PRAYER FOR THE PEOPLE OF IRAN
As we watch the news unfolding with heavy hearts we ask for emergency prayers for the people of the Middle East. SAT-7 CEO, Rita El-Mounayer, shared:
At SAT-7 around the globe, we are deeply aware that behind every headline are real people: viewers, believers, children, and communities who long for peace. All of our language channels are continuing production as normal. Our Persian channel is continuing to share programmes despite satellite communication and the internet being disrupted. We have been reaching out to viewers via WhatsApp and social media to let them know they are not alone.”
Our focus is on sharing hope and prayer to all our viewers who may be able to hear from us with a prayer continually across our screens:
Heavenly Father, In the midst of the sounds of war and anxiety, be the refuge and shield of the people of Iran. Protect the innocent, comfort the broken-hearted, and open a way toward justice, freedom, and peace. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."
How can you pray?
- For protection over civilians in every affected area
- For restraint and wisdom among leaders
- For comfort for those living in fear
- For strength for churches and believers
- For de-escalation, justice and lasting peace
