Yahya had terrible toothache. To make matters worse, he’d run out of painkillers. Knowing his friend had the medicine he needed, he decided to drop by – but little did he know, this impromptu visit was about to turn his life upside down... 

Yahya’s friend invited him in and switched on the TV, and a Christian channel came on. Yahya had never seen anything like it. Here was a pastor, wearing jeans, and speaking Persian! His friend wanted to turn it off, but Yahya was transfixed.

“As I listened, I had an amazing feeling as if I was not on the earth,” Yahya later told our viewer support team. “I was engrossed in what the pastor was saying.”

Yahya became a regular viewer of SAT-7 after that. Now, he is growing in his faith in Jesus. “Before I found your channel I was in turmoil, without hope and weary of life,” he says. “Thank God, ever since then my life has greatly changed.”

All it takes is a moment for someone in the MENA to discover SAT-7 and hear about Jesus. This week, let’s pray for the “finders” – those like Yahya in Iran who are switching on SAT-7 for the first time, sometimes unintentionally!
