Bahar from Turkey had a handful of pills in one hand and a television remote in the other. Planning to end her life, she decided to watch her favourite show, Homemade, one last time.

Bahar was suffering from depression – she was recently divorced and couldn’t see her two children. When she found herself alone on her birthday, she felt so lonely that she didn’t want to be alive any more. That’s when she turned on SAT-7 TÜRK.

“That day the presenter Şemsa was talking about God’s love and patience,” Bahar told our viewer support team. “She talked about delivering ourselves to Him and giving Him our pain. I messaged you and you got back to me right away.”

The team praised God that Bahar had reached out for help. They were able to give her the support she needed. “Right now I have hope,” Bahar says. “I’m reading the Bible, praying every day and I believe that someday I will see my children again.

“Jesus Christ is with me and taking care of me – I can feel His presence. I want to thank you all because you have been tools for God to do this in my life.”
