This discipleship programme is aimed at North African women who may have few or no opportunities for Christian fellowship. It is presented by three women in an intimate living room-style setting and particularly aims to help illiterate women. Two of the presenters take on the role of new Christians and ask questions about the faith that any new believer might ask.
Women in the Middle East and North Africa often face crippling social issues. They may endure restrictions on many aspects of their lives, and in some countries, such as Egypt, sexual harassment and abuse is extremely widespread. SAT-7 produces programmes that address these social issues and provide spiritual encouragement both for our sisters in Christ and for non-Christian women seeking answers.
- Pray that the Lord will work powerfully in the hearts of new believers watching First Step, so that they will be encouraged and strengthened in their faith.
- Pray that isolated Christians will have opportunities for fellowship with other believers.
