This all-age service plan has been designed to help congregations understand more about Christmas in the Middle East and North Africa, and to pray for believers across the region.
On this page, you will find everything you need to run your service, including the full service plan and script, talk script, PowerPoint slides, children's activity sheet downloads and videos.

Full Advent Service plan
The Full Advent Service Plan PDF provides a full running order, including script, quiz activity, interactive prayer time, song suggestions, and the talk.
This plan is a suggested running order – feel free to make it your own. The service can easily be adapted to the needs of your congregation, such as moving or removing sections, or adding sections such as an additional children's address.
The talk script is included in the PDF, but if you need to edit or amend the script yourself, we also provide it as an editable Word Document.
Powerpoint Slides
These slides go along with the service plan, including true or false quiz, Bible verse and promotional slides. We also include a blank slide image in case you want to add your own.
These slides are available as a PowerPoint presentation, or as image files.
COLOURING & ACTIVITY SHEETS
These colouring and activity sheets can be downloaded and printed out for children to enjoy during the service. Taken from our brand new illustrated activity book, A Very Middle Eastern Advent, they'll help children learn about Christmas in the Middle East while they colour and play. Activity sheets include:

VIDEO 2: CHRISTMAS IN IRAN
In this animated video, you'll find out what Christmas is like for Darya, an Iranian believer, as she celebrates Christmas in secrecy.
We have also produced a version of this video without the introduction so that it can be played after the Christmas in Egypt video:
SILENT NIGHT SINGALONG
