The name of this long-running programme comes from a Turkish saying, “40 foxes have been racing in his mind”, meaning that a person has many ideas in their mind at once. Young people everywhere will find this feeling familiar!
The presenters raise questions on topics such as student life, relationships and entertainment. A guest teacher or church leader explains what the Bible says on the subject, providing guidance to young Christian viewers in Turkey who might have nowhere else to turn for advice.
Young people make up a large proportion of the population in the Middle East and North Africa: around 60% of people in the region are under 25. These young people can feel hopeless because of poor education, unemployment and poverty, and may be at risk of being radicalised. SAT-7’s programmes for teenagers encourage young believers and show non-Christian viewers that they are loved by God.
- Pray that the Lord will use the programme to help Christian teenagers in Turkey to grow in their faith and make positive life choices.
