Christian Television by and for the people of the Middle East and North Africa
Greetings to all my brothers and sisters at SAT 7. I’m grateful for your kindness and diligent work to gather us in Iran together in unity with one heart and one voice to call upon the Lord and receive good teaching. This is not just a programme or media ministry – it’s truly our CHURCH for the time being!” A secret Christian viewer in Iran.
Based in the Middle East and broadcasting in Arabic, Turkish and Farsi to the 500 million people of the region, SAT-7 is…
Making the Gospel visible – to millions of families who would otherwise not have access to it.
Making the local Church visible – in places where Christians often remain invisible to society.
Making rights & freedoms visible – challenging prejudice and discrimination against people because of their faith, gender, disability or social standing.
Through satellite television we enable the Church in the region – isolated, often small and facing many restrictions – to make known the love of Christ, to teach and encourage believers, and share a positive Christian vision for life and society. And all this in the privacy of people’s homes.
The Vision and Mission
Our Vision is to see a growing Church in the Middle East and North Africa, confident in Christian faith and witness, serving the community and contributing to the good of society and culture.
Our Mission is to provide the churches and Christians of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) an opportunity to witness to Jesus Christ through inspirational, informative, and educational television services.
Something for everyone
There’s something for everyone – from children’s game shows to deep theological studies; lifestyle magazines to sports programmes – but woven through them all is the thread of God’s transforming love for the world through Jesus Christ.
Most importantly, SAT-7 strives to make the Good News as easily understood and culturally relevant as possible. This is why most of our programmes are produced by Middle Easterners living in the region. Find out more about our programmes.
