SAT-7 – Making God’s love visible
In 2016, SAT-7 celebrated 20 years of bringing hope and light to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) through Christian satellite television. SAT-7 started broadcasting Christian TV programmes across the Arab world in 1996 – initially for just two hours a week. Over the last two decades, the ministry has grown into a network of five channels each broadcasting 24/7.
As we look back on 2016, SAT-7 is privileged to be a part of God’s plan, bringing His love to people across the MENA, into the homes and hearts of isolated Christians and seekers of truth even in countries and regions where Christianity is suppressed. Through challenging times we are supporting, encouraging and helping the Church in its life, work and witness for Christ: to make a positive contribution and help change society for the better.
We give thanks to God for His miraculous provision, which has enabled us to overcome the impossible. From humble beginnings, SAT-7 has grown to become the region’s largest Christian broadcaster. Read more about how God continues to worth through SAT-7 by viewing our Annual Report.

Jesus’ messages of love, forgiveness and turning the other cheek are as radical today as they were when he ministered in his Roman-occupied homeland 2,000 years ago. This is now a prime time for us as a ministry; people are looking for new answers in the midst of this unprecedented era of hopelessness and darkness.” (Dr Terence Ascott, Founder and CEO of SAT-7).
