Silent Night Music Challenge
TV presenter Gemma Hunt is inviting churches, schools and community groups to make some noise with the well-known carol, Silent Night. Could you get a choir together to perform the carol with our special voiceover in one of your Christmas gatherings, or play the video of our special international recording?
At a time of year when Christians in the Middle East can feel isolated, we hope that this special recording of Silent Night will help everyone feel more connected together across the world. Thanks for raising your voice!
Silent Night Carol

Bible study guide
This Bible study guide looks at different people from the Bible, their journeys and how they relate to us and also the situations that people in the Middle East and North Africa face. We look at Mary in Luke 1:26-38, Joseph in Matthew 1:18-25, the shepherds in Luke 2:8-20 and the wise men Matthew 2:1-12. There are questions to reflect on and prayer after each section of the Bible study.
You can download and print a copy to use by yourself or print more than one copy to use as a family or in a small group.
Prayer box activity
A creative and engaging activity for the whole family to help you pray together for Iran, Egypt, Algeria and Türkiye this Advent. Decorate and fill a box with pictures and items that you associate with these four countries – we’ve got some ideas to help you – and learn about what life is like for Christians there as you pray.

Silent Night poetry challenge
Children's author Martin Thomas has written a poem on SAT-7's Silent Night theme. Write your own Advent poem, inspired by the Silent Night Christmas carol and join us as we pray for the voiceless, the silent and the unheard this Advent season.
The famous Silent Night Christmas carol only has three verses. Why not write your own modern version to the same tune. Children’s author Martin Thomas has written a poem on SAT-7’s Silent Night theme. Perform it as a group and unpack its meaning.
